Because our nominees come from the major celebrity book clubs (like Reese, Oprah, and GMA), our monthly picks range from gripping thrillers and sweeping historical sagas to witty contemporary fiction and poignant memoirs. If a book was a major talking point last year, it’s likely to end up on our ballot!

We curate our monthly ballots based on the big-name picks from one year ago. If you see a book on a major list (like GMA or Reese) this month that you want to read with us, mark your calendars—it will be eligible for our "2nd Chance" vote exactly one year from now!

Every month is a fresh start! If you’ve already read the pick, come share your thoughts with those reading it for the first time. If the book doesn’t interest you, feel free to skip that month’s read and join us for the next round of voting. There are no "required" readings here!
