about the haus
Rad Book Haus isn't a warehouse. It’s a filter.
We live in a world of endless scrolling and algorithm-driven "best sellers" that rarely live up to the hype. I started this Haus because I wanted a space that felt like a curated bookshelf in a quiet backroom, not a massive store full of digital noise.
I’m the Student-in-Chief here. I stay up late doing the digging, reading the lore, and testing the gear so you don’t have to go it alone. My job is to find the signal in the static; sorting through the stacks to find the stories that actually matter and the gear that lasts. I handle the homework so you can just focus on the story.
Personally, I’m an elder millennial who recently swapped the Bay Area for the Valley. When I’m not reading, I’m usually cross-stitching on black fabric or maintaining my physical journals. I’m a fan of the big stuff: epic fantasy and practical self-help. If a book is witchy and useful, it’s probably on my shelf. I’m into the analog life because it’s what keeps me grounded when the world gets loud.
The mission of the Haus is to build an architecture of resilience through stories and community. It’s about creating a sanctuary from the noise. No gurus, no fluff. Just the goods.
